Digital Marketing Executive – Full Time

We are currently seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing and BD team, working on all aspects of digital marketing for the firm. You will be responsible for driving engagement with our client base and prospect audience through the website, SEO, PPC campaigns and social media, as well as e-marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Support the Head of Marketing & BD by executing and/or coordinating the firm’s digital marketing activities including website management, email communications, social media, display advertising, paid search marketing, and SEO.
  • Responsible for the execution of targeted digital communications to relevant customer segments using CRM and other marketing automation tools from creation and copy-writing through to delivery & reporting.
  • Manage the firm’s social media channels (LinkedIn & Twitter)
  • Updating and general maintenance of the firm’s website through the CMS, WordPress.
  • Deliver performance reports across all channels, using systems such as CRM, Google Analytics, Web trends, Google Adwords, Google Search Console and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Coordinate the creation of targeted paid social campaigns primarily on LinkedIn to engage our clients and prospects to include online banner adverts and pay per click (PPC) ad management.
  • Work with in-house and freelance resources (copywriters, designers, PR consultants) to produce digital and print marketing collateral and drive effective client communications.
  • Act as a BCL brand ambassador/guardian to ensure consistent branding and key messages across the marketing mix.

 

Corporate Crime & Regulation Lawyer: 2-4 years’ PQE

We are currently seeking to recruit a lawyer with 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience to join our Corporate Crime & Regulation department, working on matters relating to corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter, health and safety, environmental protection, fire safety, other regulatory offences, financial crime and cyber-crime.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an excellent academic background;
  • have an in-depth understanding of criminal investigations and prosecutions by the police/HSE/EA/SFO/FCA;
  • have experience in some or all of the relevant practice areas outlined above;
  • have experience of advising corporates and individuals; and
  • be keen to join a team of dedicated lawyers at the forefront of this area of the law.

 

Business Crime Paralegal – Full Time

We are currently seeking to recruit a paralegal to join our Business Crime and Regulation department; the team are specialists dealing with corporate crime, financial crime and regulatory offences.

The successful candidate will:

  • have an analytical mind and an excellent academic background including a law degree or GDL;
  • have an understanding of criminal/regulatory investigations and prosecutions e.g. by the police, HSE, EA, local authorities, HMRC, SFO, CMA and FCA;
  • be able to exhibit an interest in the relevant practice areas outlined above; and
  • be keen to join a team of dedicated lawyers at the forefront of this area of the law.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a similar role within a criminal law practice.

 

Paralegal PA (Maternity Cover)

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced PPA with at least 5 years’ experience as a legal secretary/PA within a criminal practice. A minimum of at least 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades A** – C are also required for this role.

The role will be available from February 2019 onwards and is currently expected to last around 10 months however since this for a period of maternity cover the role will end upon the return of the incumbent job holder.

Hours for the role will be Full-Time, 9am to 5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

The role will include all duties the role title reasonable suggests, including but not limited to:

  • Preparing correspondence to client, counsel and court and other parties as required
  • Making phone calls to clients, counsel, courts and other parties as required
  • Liaising with chambers re counsel availability and costs as required
  • Preparing schedules of documents, chronologies and court bundles
  • Managing calendars/diaries for fee-earners

Recording fee-earners time as required, type and send bills.
