Greg Mailer
Greg Mailer specialises in fraud and business crime litigation, as well as regulatory matters. He has experience of defending prosecutions by the Serious Fraud Office, the Crown Prosecution Service and HM Revenue & Customs.
Greg joined BCL Burton Copeland in 2005, having worked for a year with HM Revenue & Customs in the Asset Recovery Unit where he assisted in the restraint and confiscation of criminal proceeds. Greg trained at Tarlo Lyons Solicitors where he gained experience in both civil and criminal litigation, having studied law at Nottingham University and completed his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
Since joining BCL, Greg has assisted in the defence of clients accused of insider dealing, corruption, bribery, missing trader fraud, share ramping, data protection offences, and several complex frauds.
Greg is a member of the Law Society and the Young Fraud Lawyers’ Association.
