BCL secure acquittal of Political Researcher on charges of false accounting
On 6 November 2009, four days after the commencement of her trial as a Co Defendant with former MEP Tom Wise, Political Researcher, Lindsay Jenkins, was exonerated of all wrong doing when the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against her. Mr Wise, with whom Mrs Jenkins had been accused of abusing the European Parliament's system of claiming expenses, was convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment further to pleading guilty to false accounting. Lindsay Jenkins was represented by Partner, Harry Travers.
