Harry Travers comments in the Financial Times on the upsurge of cases brought by financial investigators in the last year.

On 31 May 2010 an article in the Financial Times entitled "Watchdogs sharpen teeth on raft of cases" suggested that the Serious Fraud Office, the Financial Services Authority and the Office of Fair Trading have all recently increased their enforcement activity as a result of the new government's proposal for a  single economic crime super-agency.

Harry Travers was quoted as saying "There is a lot of manoeuvring between different regulators about who has got sharper teeth and - if there is to be a super agency - over who would have supremacy in that."
