Caroline Mair
Caroline is a barrister specialising in business crime and regulatory enforcement, including criminal fraud and health and safety.
She is also experienced in commercial litigation, civil fraud and general crime, which gives her a comprehensive understanding of the crossover between the civil and criminal law.
Caroline completed a BA (Hons) at the University of Bristol and later received a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from City University, London. She then completed the Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School and went on to undertake pupillage specialising in general crime. Caroline joined BCL in 2010.
Caroline has also worked as a civil court advocate and, over a three year period, she handled a heavy caseload and gained a strong understanding of civil procedure. She acted for clients in claims involving insolvency, property and general commercial matters, which often took her to the High Court.
Caroline is a member of the Middle Temple, the Health and Safety Lawyers' Association, the Young Fraud Lawyers Association and the Female Fraud Forum.
