Gavin’s practice incorporates the whole spectrum of BCL’s work profile, covering business crime/regulation and serious general crime, with specific experience in fraud, corruption, financial regulation and extradition.
As such, Gavin has assisted in defending prosecutions by the Serious Fraud Office, the Financial Services Authority (now the Financial Conduct Authority) and HM Revenue and Customs, as well as the conduct of appeals against conviction and sentence.
Gavin was admitted as a solicitor in 2013. He obtained a BA (Hons) from King's College and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Vocational Course at the BPP Law School. He also completed an LLM and joined BCL in 2011 as a legal assistant, subsequently cross-qualifying as a solicitor.
Gavin is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, the Young Fraud Lawyers' Association and the London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association.
