Oliver Al Falah

Oliver specialises in serious and complex general crime.  He joined the general crime team in 2011.

Oliver was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2007.  Having obtained a first class LL.B (Hons), he studied the Bar Vocational Course for which he was awarded a Major Scholarship by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.  He has since cross qualified as a solicitor.

Oliver trained at a leading criminal defence firm of solicitors and has over two years experience in general crime and fraud.  He has defended against various allegations relating to assault, dishonesty, driving, public order and serious sexual offences.  He has also acted for individuals wishing to institute private prosecutions.

Additionally, Oliver has defended prosecutions and subsequent confiscation proceedings brought by the Serious Fraud Office, the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (as was the DTI) and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

Oliver is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, the Bar Council, the Young Fraud Lawyers’ Association and the London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association.
