Guevara Leacock

Guevara is a Legal Assistant in the Corporate and Financial Crime Team

He joined the firm in 2019 from another leading criminal defence practice where he also specialised in white-collar and business crime.

Guevara has been involved in a number of FCA, SFO and HMRC cases. He has also been involved in general crime matters involving fraud, burglary, theft, extradition, Bribery and Corruption and the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. He was a member of a team acting for a FTSE 100 company prosecuted by the SFO for fraud and false accounting offences. He also has experience in private prosecutions.

Guevara read Law at the University of Kent and completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Bar Professional Studies at the University of Law in 2017. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in the same year. He is currently undertaking an LLM at Nottingham Trent University specialising in corporate investigations, financial risk and insolvency.

In his spare time Guevara enjoys baking, cycling and weightlifting.
