BCL partner, Shaul Brazil, will co-chair the session on Extradition, Politics and the Rule of Law at the IBA (International Bar Association) Transnational Crime Conference in Buenos Aires on 15-17 May 2019.
The panellists will examine the increasing use (or misuse) of extradition proceedings and associated processes, such as Interpol Red Notices, for political purposes, the legal protections available to individuals and the approach of the courts to safeguarding the rule of law and individuals’ rights.
