Position: Senior Digital Marketing Executive

Location: London Office (3 day per week) / working from home (2 days per week) if required

Position Summary:

This is an exciting role for an outstanding individual to join our small team in our growing marketing and business development function. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & BD, the Senior Digital Marketing Executive will support and manage the delivery and reporting on all digital marketing campaigns and activities, as part of the firm’s marketing strategy.

This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to take ownership for the the firm’s digital marketing channels, leading on campaigns across our integral marketing channels such as LinkedIn / Twitter, SEO, paid search, and sponsored digital content.   • Support the Head of Marketing & BD by executing and/or coordinating the firm’s digital marketing activities including WordPress website management, video and email communications, social media engagement, digital advertising, paid search marketing, search engine optimization.
  • Responsible for the execution of targeted integrated digital campaigns to relevant customer segments from design/creation and copy-writing through to delivery & reporting.
  • Manage updates and everyday general maintenance of the firm’s website alongside our website agency.
  • Support the Head of Marketing in the timely delivery of performance reports across all channels, responsible for the collation and reporting of online and offline performance, using systems such as CRM, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, LinkedIn Campaign Planner, and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Coordinate the creation of targeted paid social campaigns primarily on LinkedIn to engage our clients and prospects to include online banner adverts and pay per click (PPC) ad management.
  • Work with in-house and freelance resources (copywriters, designers, PR consultants) to produce digital and print marketing collateral and drive effective client communications.
  • Support with all other general marketing activities E.g. event planning and management as and when required
  • Continue to act as a BCL brand ambassador/guardian to make sure a consistent brand image and message is deployed in all marketing activities.

Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have proven experience planning and executing digital marketing tactics to increase brand awareness and ultimately engage clients and prospects through the sales funnel.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in B2B or professional services marketing
  • Strong experience in managing websites using a Content Management System, WordPress or equivalent.
  • Strong experience planning and delivering paid search, sponsored content and SEO.
  • Comprehensive experience of social media campaign management
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms to delivery digital marketing campaigns such as email campaigns and event management.
  • Good experience creating performance reports and management dashboards using platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or other marketing analytics platforms.
  • Have a good understanding of multi-channel marketing and experience delivering compelling thought leadership, tailored to the channel and the audience.
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal), highly organized and meticulous about detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Logical thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to work independently and to develop ideas and projects without supervision, as well as being effective as part of a team.

Desirable but not essential

  • Postgraduate digital marketing qualification.
  • Experience using photoshop or other design programmes
  • Proven track record within the professional services sector, ideally consulting or law
