Rebecca was admitted as a solicitor in November 2020, and previously worked as an accredited duty solicitor at a highly regarded Legal 500 London criminal defence firm. Rebecca is regularly instructed to represent clients accused of a wide range of offences including drug supply, fraud, assault, the possession or use of firearms and serious sexual and violent offences. She frequently attends the police station to advise both adults and young people on a wide spectrum of offences and has developed a proactive approach to police station advice and representation to resolve matters at the earliest opportunity and without charge. This includes drafting detailed representations that cases should not be proceeded with.

Since obtaining her duty qualification in 2021, Rebecca has gained extensive experience in the Youth Court and the Magistrates Court. Her experience as an advocate provides her with invaluable practical knowledge and a strategic mindset that directly influences her approach to litigation in both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court. She has a meticulous and robust approach to litigation, liaising closely with expert witnesses and counsel, which allows her to quickly identify weaknesses in the prosecution case and resolve matters swiftly and effectively.

During her training contract, Rebecca was seconded to a leading civil liberties firm working on Inquests and Actions Against the Police.

Rebecca read Law with European Legal Studies at King’s College London. During her undergraduate studies she spent a year abroad studying at Comillas Pontifical University, Madrid.
